Well I got my car from the paint shop today! YAY! LOL. So I took some pictures and a short video going around the car =P Heres they are:

Went to tuning day at barbagallo yesterday. Lots and lots of racing cars. I meant proper racing cars, with roll cages, stripped out interior, etc. LOL Scary. Deffinitly alot of fast cars. I took my video camera and inteded to take some footage of the cars there and some incar footage.

Yep2s got my Vortsteiner carbon fibre boot installed! Just finished putting in the trims today in fact! It wasn’t easy (not for me anyway). But its done =)

I don’t have any pictures of it yet, will do that later haha. Im just glad its in already.

No Im not talking about weed, or cigirate, LOL. I am talking about a legal drag racing. Yes we’ve all raced someone out of the traffic lights before (disclamer: What I say may, or may not, be true about me racing other people on public roads, always follow traffic regulations and don’t break laws). Legal, proper, drag racing though is a little different. The excitement is different. If you’ve never been, I do recommend it. Don’t make excuses saying that your car isn’t a sports car, bla bla bla. I saw lots of different types of cars down there. Its just fun

Now back to the story. When we lined up, I was so nervous, my hands were sweating. I have never been to a proper drag race before so I didn’t know what to expect. Let me tell you know, everything went really fast. From when you lined up, to you linning up before the lights and the green light!

Magical indeed. That is the feeling I get everytime I get a new package! LOL like kids on christmast day, opening gifts. The difference is that I already know whats in the box and I choose my gifts! LOL

Anyway I got my CROSS coilover set from JIC Magic today!. If you dont know what Im talking about clicky here. Yes one of those! LOL

What a morning I’ve had, the following thing just made my morning. Well its morning for me as I woke up at 12. I feel for him though.

So there I was with my gf having brunch (breakfast/lunch) in kings park. Just eating KFC in my car, as you would on a saturday morning. I procede to drive out of the car park into parts of kings park that was a little less crowded and more fun to drive. With twisty roads and almost no cars. As I was pulling out of the driveway though a HSV coupe passes by, so I decided to catch up and have a little fun.

We drove spiritedly, I stayed mostly in third gear, not racing. He accelerates and I kept up fine. He must be a little pissed cause he was getting reckless. Most people wouldn’t think of a BMW as a fast car unless its an ///M

Yeps, that was the packet that arrived yesterday. My carbon fibre hood. There was abit of a mix up tho with the orders. I tought I ordered a carbon boot aswell but they sent me a front lip instead. Then I looked at my orders again, in fact I ordered a lip for the boot….not the whole boot. But JLevisw.com is sorting it out =)

Anyway, the install yesterday didn’t go too soothly. first of all the boot damper’s screw hole was too big on the driver’s side so only one damper was fitted. This is where my mistake was. I should’ve fitted the damper last, because of this the bonnet wasn’t alligned properly and wouldn’t lock on the driver’s side. This is all sorted now.

Yes, I haven’t posted in a while because I’ve been playing Spore these past few days. Let me tell you this, its a great game! I know somepeople have been saying that it doesn’t meet their expectations but I think they have the wrong idea about what this game is all about.

First of all a little description of the game for those who are not familiar with it. You start of as single cell organism and evolve into a land creature and go through the tribal, civilitation and finally the space stage. You then proceed to the center of the galaxy and find out whats there. All these times you are making changes to your species by way of evolving. What you do from when you are a single cell organism to when you are in space stage will affect you in the long run.

So whats the point of the game? How do you win? Well that last one there is the wrong question and why I think some people don’t get this game. Those of you who have played Will Wright’s Games (maker of Spore, Sims, etc.) will know he makes “Sandbox” types of games.
